i did not realize we were limited to the number of pics we cold post. most of mine are in my progression thread and it would seem really silly to start removing them. i can no longer load new pics. :bummed:
No biggie, just start uploading them to Photobucket (or wherever), and add image links to them from your thread.

no biggie?
i have to create a NEW photobucket account which requires a NEW email account. my current photobucket is full and you can only have 1 per email address.
then every time i want to post a pic here i have to open a new window, go to photobucket, load the pic, then copy the address and paste it here. i have to resize as well or they will fill the whole screen. now i have double files in my picture folder. large and small sized files. i'm not changing my camera settings simply for this site. sorry.
sounds like twice the work to me.
i have never been to a forum that limited attachments. is this just how it is?
:bummed:
Got a GP/GA account? Use that.

photo bucket should not have a limit......worse case pay for the sub based account. I believe it is unlimited. Just upgrade your current account and you should be fine.

you calling me a liar? j/k :D
photobucket has a 1000 pic limit.
pay who? photobucket? :twitch:
i frequent numerous forums, i have never seen one with a limit before. i understand i have other options, just wasn't aware it was necessary.
if i knew there was a limit here i would have chosen my pics more wisely. i saw the red bar moving but didn't really think it would actually limit me.

Are your images really big? Maybe that's why you're running out of space, just sayin...
Just checked my CP>attachments, it says; You are currently using 6.22 MB to store 122 uploaded attachments.
and the red line is about two-thirds of the way along the bar, so there's loads more space yet.
I don't find it troublesome to put pictures elsewhere and make links to them in the post. Reason being the image can be centred, also I can add text inbetween the pictures, just makes it more interesting for the reader. Because I care :-)

Hey bud, load into gp/ga . org and copy and paste the HTML code for the mini-gallery. Free, and looks nice. Just resize the pics with IrfanView, very simple program to use to crop, resize. After you figure it out you can zip through the pics.
Heres a free hosting site that accepts my 800 x 7000 ebay ads:
http://fileave.com/
Accepts large files, just has a small limit on how many MBs total you can store.
These ones are pretty good too, just less bandwidth I believe:

or just use your own web hosting acct add as many as you want that way you can make your online gallery on your site to show people then just link the pics from there to hear..
with all the unlimited bandwidth hosts around now its cheap n easy to set up then you can have years of attachments,, and wont tax the forums bandwidth ..
good for everyone..
I ran out of space a few years ago lol
check this out too boxtop jpeg,, a plugin for photo shop with slider to adjust size in kb,, you can see original and your optimized img in windows ,, I regularly get 200 kb imgs down to less than 50 no loss of noticeable quality.. that means for web not print..

Most forums that have people posting a lot of pics like we do, and offer free hosting, also routinely delete things you have posted. We, do not.
If you want to clear up your space here on your own, go to your user cp and delete attachments from there. ;)

If you upgrade to Pro on photobucket you get 25GB of storage. Not unlimited but a lot more than the free account which is 500MB.
