Well...I got a call at 3 am to let me know that the shop had been broken in to.
They got my computer, monitor, security camera monitor, checkbook, checks, credit cards, and some of the marbles that I have in my office.
Little SOB tried to write a check for cigarettes in the same town as the shop (very small town) and got busted. Broke after 15 min at the Police Station. I did get most back but have had a hell of a day getting things straightened back out and securing the door they broke in through.
Sorry, I just had to get it off my chest!

Really sorry to hear you had to deal with that shit. But I'm glad they caught the dude.
Even if you got everything back it doesn't take away the hassle factor and the feeling of violation because someone had the temerity to take your stuff.

I'm glad you got it back. I'd be pissed about them jacking your stuff,but I'd hate for them to get customer data (like cc numbers??) off of the machine too. These days one theft can screw a LOT of people.
Not to mention it would slow down folks getting glass :D
Seriously though, glad they got the guy. You're one of my favorite suppliers.

Hey everyone!
Thanks for all the support. We were up and running yesterday while going through all the other stuff.
The local PD would not let me "question" him alone. They also would not let me follow them out to his house to recover my property.
Still missing the security camera monitor and the marbles that were taken but got everything else back.

I just noticed I'm missing a grateful dead dicro marble on a cold punty I had on display at my xmas craft fair. Every time I took a piss, I came out and saw the lady selling chinese glass hovering over my shit. I wouldn't be blaming her but she did tell me "I draw out the designs and a guy down south makes them..." Right....that's why all your bulbular xmas orniments have metal hooks. At first she was telling me she blows glass until I asked her a few specific questions....then all of the sudden her equipment turned into some guys who let her take a few classes and then she gave up b/c it's "too hard". LAME One of those get rich quick scams. Just buy these cheap chinese xmas crap and slap a heat sticker on it and then charge a 3 cent item for like $10 as if was American or something.
