Bob in Indy

Hello everyone,
My name is Bob. I own the Mind's Eye in Indianapolis. I am the oldest pipe shop in Indiana, and as far as I know, I am the only shop owner that also makes my own glass. I have been blowing glass for about 15 years now and still have a LOT to learn. I just discovered this site and am learning how to use this infernal machine. Looking forward to hearing from and learning from you guys. Peace.

Thanks to everyone. I have just found the online community and am really learning a lot already. No one here in Indy is willing to share unless you pay them. And not even then sometimes. I have really enjoyed my short time on here and hope to learn and contribute.
Just for information, I am a jeweler and a lapidary so if you have any questions on either of those subjects, just let me know via pm. Don't want to overstep my bounds on the forums after all.
As far as Shrinker is concerned, I am sorry, I don't know that name.
And I am very glad I am not the only one here in the wastlands of glass blowing.

im about an hour away in marion, i had no idea about your shop and i know alot of them around. what part of indy are you in? id like to stop in and check out your shop someday when i go to indy next..

I am on the southside of Indy. At Thompson and Madison Ave. Just south of Thompson Rd. on the west side of Madison. Let me know when you stop, always fun to talk to another glass blower.
