Nickel Fuming

I had some old nickels layin around made of pure nickel, and got a nice effect with the glass, has anyone done tried this before?

i though old nickels were sterling silver, not pure nickel? unless you mean older then when they made em out of sterling

nickel fumes cause edema and death. More so than most metals. Don't do it without a chemical hood.

hmmmmmmmmm the majority of the metal content in ANY nickel......is copper. Sooooo your really not Nickel fuming, IMO.

Pre 1960 nickels aren't solid nickel.
