Learn to sculpt human figurines out of soft glass using Italian style techniques. I will be teaching how to sculpt the human form in the Venetian style step by step, "by the numbers" with the soft soda lime Italian Moretti glass. Some lampworking skills required.
We will first explore the "static posture" (legs together), and then we will discuss how to create movement (legs separated); for example, running, jumping, squatting, bending at the waist; in order to create dynamic postures with different "hip tilts/positions", with life like movements and proportions all in the soft soda lime Moretti Glass!!!
