so i hear this alot.... just wanted to toss up a pic or two of what some of the possibilities of what can be done on a lynx.... first attempt at a bong today...i think it came out ok....should have made it a little taller though i think...and maybe have not made it on a point at the mouthpiece...but live and learn... used 30mill med.
The bubbler i used a section of periwinkle tube pull also done on the lynx...it was a small pull pretty much just enough to make that section...clear tube with periwinkle lines drawn on melted in and sleeved and pulled out..

thanks , the shape is not super good but I was trying to see how big I can go with a lynx and I think I can make much larger piece with it , just have to make it section by section.
there is some months my foot pedal valves broke (I have a phantom) so I got no other choice than using only my center fire (the lynx part of the phantom) . I first told to all my friends that I will have to make pendants for some times cause I did'nt thought I was able to make pipe with it . As my valve was stuck at the custom , I decide to try to make small pipes with the lynx . I end up making 20mm sleeved with 32mm all heavy wall pipes (like 10mm thick wall) ,so I thought I should try to make inline bub with it and I made like 3 or 4 of them pretty easily . I cant wait to fininaly get my valves , I will rage the phantom like never before ;)

I asked Danny Parker that question about 7 years ago when I bought a Lynx, and he pulled out some crazy double bubblers he had made.
Nate Miers also has some crazy work done on a lynx.
I dont have links to the pictures, but hopefully one of those guys will chime in.
its all about heat base. . . . .

I knew buying a lynx was the best investment I would make! Now I need to get off the dual oxy gen's and onto bottled oxy!
Right you are blade. Remember when Danny posted that massive tube pull he did on a Cheetah? Amazing.

Cleardome if your foot pedal is broken why don't you use y connectors on your hoses to bypass the need for the pedal? Then you could use your phantom like I was a two stud instead of a four stud?

Like it was a two stud.... Damn typos... =)

scott is one of my shopmates and teacher, he makes some insane shiz on that lynx i sold him. too funny, cause he laughed about the size when he first saw it. before the gtt he was on a cc+, now the carlisle is very lonely.

This thread is making me think big with my lynx, can't wait till I can make some tubes and bubblers, time will tell...
I'm so glad to see this thread. I was just thinking the other day that a tread should be started with what can be made on a lynx since so many of us have one. Such an under estimated torch. Thanks for getting this going makes me want to make a price to add.

No problem guys! I really feel that the lynx is and under estimated torch... I always think its funny when people say they have maxed out their torches and they are still working small... Lets see some more pics people!! :)

Rage that little sucka wide open and it can amaze, all lynx owners should make a piece and post. I would say that that the lynx is one of the most important designs that GTT has! This is my torch of preference and wouldn't hesitate recommending to a beginner.

a beginner needs no more. i had a lynx for 2 months till the phantom i ordered was ready, and now i have the phantom its hardly used beyond the lynx capacity yet. shit when i fire it up i usually overmelt shit still :D

the key is turning ur line presures up. way beyond the reccomended psi. i run my oxy at 60psi and propane at 30 psi. you will get more flame range. then its just heat base.

does this work for all gtt torches? i rock the cheetah and run the reccomended 20psi oxy and 5psi propane..i still havent used the torch to its full potential yet i dont think..well havent cranked the valves all the way open anyway...
