Works fine for me. I don't do anything spectacular though - just little prodo work. If you can make a $75 piece from 6" of tubing though, may as well go with the pricey shit and not deal with the little imperfections in some of the tubes. Pretty clean stuff though for the price.

what about the blowpipe? is it safe? will it crack off my nice pieces right at the handle? what about 19 or 22 for pendants, hows it fume?

The stuff I've got right now from mountain glass sucks the fume right up, tough to get the nice bluing with but the amber color is very easy to get. Get's streaky too so kinda makes it's own pattern.

used to get asian from abr (like two years ago) all of there 44x4 was 3.1 ish wall. they tried to convince me that it varies in thickness but all the tube ends in all the cases were within .1 of 3.1.

so they comped the cases and gave me credit to buy whatever; i got simax.

i know nothing of their asian now but i like mountains asian alot more. but if you can use asian, abrs will probably be fine

just double check that the thickness will work for you

oh, and if alot of the tubes, like more than half are busted on the end get some credit for em. (this is common from many distributors, its the glass and its cut ends)

got 25x4 from abr and it was just fine for asian
