View Full Version : i've got a really odd question...
ok, so my buddy had this odd request that i'm really not to sure about. he had this cat since he was really young and it just recently died. he still has a tooth from the cat and he was wondering if it would be possible to encase it into a pendant. i know this is super weird, but does anyone know if a cat tooth will just burn up when exposed to that kind of heat? or if it will just definitely cause the glass to crack when cooled? or if it's totally possible? well, hope someone has some input on this. thanks!

Blow a bubble with a loop and a small hole in the back. Anneal it. Then put the tooth in and fill the space with UV glue.

It will burn.
What you can do is encase it in a small tube as long as you seal it away from the tooth.
make a cat pendant and glue the tooth in the right spot..

I've seen a 20 dollar bill sealed off in a tube and it didn't burn.

ive seen creamatory ash actualy mixed into the glass, that was cool, but it was already burned up.
i have a friend that got a toe nail ripped off and wanted me to put it in a bead for him... thats wierder... but i said no cuz i figured it would just burn up, i think the worst that would happen is that it would turn it all black.
i think the best thing to do would be to make a hollow bead leaving a small hole in the back or bottom, anneal it then place the tooth in and seal the hole.

That's exactly why it will burn. Crematory ash contains burned bones as well as flesh.
