Anyone know what's up with this glass? It says it's kimble but it's made in china.http://kimble-bomex.en.alibaba.com/product/263422068-209681330/Tubing_and_rods.html

From my experience Chinese glass is shotty all around...its more than likely more Chinese knock glass call it kimble and sell it cheap Americans will buy it on name recognition.

I got some of this tubing on some ground joints I picked up recently. Its not bad but it sure glows different in the flame. I haven't used anything but schott for a long time but I like this stuff.

different trace elements? any comments on how it reacts with fume?

I haven't fumed yet or even got to blow bubbles with it. Just using the ground joints. It isn't real shocky and I don't notice chord lines so I'm happy.
