I don't get how the picture part is done. Don't you do it with a picture from newspaper, or something? Is it burnt on? I don't its way above my skill level anyway.

So is it done with a photo emulstion (Stuff that hardens in the light). I guess I can read around on the forum about sandblasting methods. It would be nice to know, cuz I might be getting a sandblasting cabnet soon.

The sandblast is done with a halftone resist. That gives it the "newspaper" effect. Very nice.
