This is a little garden gnome that I just made. I will be making these for the AGE show in Las Vegas. I am making a lot of cartoon type charactors that will go onto pipes.

Nice! I like the marvering straight on your mirage barrel, Straight Gangstar right there.

Most excellent.

Is there a chance we could get a picture of the finished gnome? Youtube quality as usual leaves to be desired....

I started to watch it, but lewis said it would be 7 or 8 minutes and the video was 9 and change... I want my money back.

I saw these yesterday, they're sweet! They're gonna be available at the Duke City Pipes room 2908 at AGE.

I have only marvered small items on this Mirage torch body for the last 12-14 years. I wonder what this will do to the torch over a long period of time.
Oh yea, that is a long period of time.
This is just a time saving technique. i never did like torch mounted marvers.

Hi folks. Lewis was having some technical difficulties posting photos of his latest work, so I uploaded them to my server. They’re all awesome, but I can’t get over the “evil monkey”… it totally rocks!!!

BTW- Lewis will be here at AGI (http://http://www.talkglass.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=41), and he will be getting together with Salt for a demonstration / collaboration!

Enjoy the photos :)

Will you be at the Milwaukee Bead and Button Show this year by any chance?

I will not be there, but my daughter Jennifer will. She will be working at the Soft Flex booth. If there is anything that you would like to add to a pipe, get in touch with me before the show.

I tried out the gnome last night, I made a pendant out of it...

Your work is killer...

That is great. I filmed that gnome with a simple web cam that has a fixed focus. Not the best thing to use for teaching. Glad it helped.
I am looking at getting a better one with better features. Right after I get back from las Vegas.
