I use 20 oxy and 5 propane for my lynx
Also, the manual the Lynx comes with has everything you need to know on it and more. Make sure you always are using atleast some of the secondary oxygen

I have never had a reg freeze on me. what type of tank is it
If your regs are frosting up that means your right on track
when i rage my delta for an hour or 2 my liquid tank looks like a snow cone

i've never seen a hose or reg frost up and i've run a delta, phantom and a remax off two regs and one can. i'd check the reg twice

In 12yrs of glassworking I've never seen a regulator frost up either, not one attached to a greenie anyway.

My liquid tank and reg freezes often here but I don't think the lines ever have...I'd suggest a soap water test just to make sure there isn't a leak.....at least, for peace of mind
I use regular 300 oxy tanks and my frost up abit from time to time. Not frozen but frosty. If it's frozen then you got some other issues. It also depends on the humidity, where I work (garage in Miami, FL) it gets frosty more often on damp rainy days. It also frosts up more on new tanks with higher pressure.

i saw it in less than 12 weeks. maybe its related to where you keep your oxy, or the weather where you are, i dunno.

i think local humidity has something to do whit hit, idefinately frost up liquid and cans in 1-2 hours of heavy work. after a long day of work, esp if its humid, there will be 1"+ of snow on top of my tank and knobs, and a frost over the reg, knobs on it, and about 2-3' of hose.
If youve never had a reg freeze over on ya then you are not doing something right. lol Get to work slackers.

I had six red max torches running today for 8 hours and none of the regs were freezing. The liquid tank was pretty icy but not the regs. Probably depends on the humidity.

in 12 years, i've never seen any cylinders or regulators have any frost either. only frost on the liquid tanks, never on a 251 or similar.
and that's having my own studio in dry and humid climates, and visiting dozens of studios all over the place in every climate.
shouldn't happen with a tank that isn't liquid oxy.
