hells-lo- hope all are back home safe an sound from vegas, and made mucho mucho sales if you where vending...
i jus wanted to say thanks so much to all whom made that event happon! The flame off was the wicked-ist things i have ever seen! so in light of the oscars last night-
i would like to thank first the artist, girls and guys! the folks who put on the show (lisa,josh) the suppliers- northstar,winship,marel(kilns)blastshield, praxair( I hung with gas guy for a minet, he was totally floored)- the venders from the show...and you'all who attended (like me) to have there socks knocked off...because we all together made that sheet roc!
For me that really brought things into some kind of perspective, the glass community is very strong- i found many many kind people- willing to share whatever they could- really, no secrets- people jus let it hang out- for everyone to peep...that to me was impressive. As for me, i am not the most socially graceful of people- but i did manage to meet a bunch of people from the pot, which after being up here for 5 years was a goal of mine...So now, ya cant get rid of me- hope to check another flame-off again really soon- hopefully before LV next year- because that is a deff. on my calendar...
