Is there anywhere besides Denver that someone can find decent AFFORDABLE rent in Co? I used to live up in Silverthorne but god damn I cant afford that kinda living these days. Is Boulder straight? I don't want to live in a dump. I'd settle for a 2 bedroom side by side duplex with space to blow for 750 if thats realistic out there. I havent got a clue where to look for listings though. Ideally I'd move to Leadville, but my girl has a degree in floral design and that would probly be a bad location for her. Plus I dunno about how good the schools in Leadville are. My kinda town, but small town schools can be pretty lacking sometimes.

average rent in ftcollins is 1200 a month for just about any thing with big enough space to work.The cost of living is definatly high out here.

Boulder is ify, there is a buffer law on development there which keeps it small year by year (comparitivley) so it will porlly remain a premium area (specially with all the folks migrating for the green rush)

Colorado minimum wage is 1 cent below Federal, at the moment. It's been rising incrementally for the last two or three years, presently at $7.24.

By the way, I'll have a couple spare seats in my Golf heading up to and back from this thing. It's not the snazziest ride around, but if anyone needs a ride from Golden or Boulder, or back to Boulder, just let me know :chilling:

you can count on our big event being annual, every July in Denver. Other than that, we will probably make some of the mini events annual as well.
With all of the amazing feedback for this big spring event, i am sure the fort crew wouldnt mind throwing this once a year!
