:bangHead:i hooked up my brand new torch and worked great until i pressed the pedal to the off pos. and the inner fire went out also....wtf....the pedal has only 4 barbs that come out of it instead of 6 like most models do. the control doesn't say any where about input and output, or intake,outtake... as i was on the floor of my sop to check this thing out more...i pushed it down slowly with my hand and watched the mechanics of it......it looks like both sides/valves close the same.....so my guess is that this foot control is for a 2 stud torch like lynx.
the 2 top barbs i hooked up to my reg.s and tanks....the bottom 2 barbs, i put a 2 inch piece of hose on with hose clamps, then attatched T shape connectors, then lines @ 3 feet long to torch lines. i used 3/8" lines for gasses.

You hooked it up backwards. Follow alien's diagram and you will be all set.

yeah i do have a set of ys sittin here, but i put ts on near the foot control to have 2 lines run to my torch studs....

only two ways to go on a top hat right and wrong.

have you used it yet I just did not dig the way it felt having to have the thing on the floor I got a smutty so the lines could go under bench not on floor.

your all good bro just did not want you to sell it and lose any money as it will work just fine.

Thats why smutty is so cool he sends you the bypass y's and fittings for your specific needs.

Thats also why I don't build my own I got so many projects going and smutty really goes the extra mile.
