Hey everyone I'm from LA Cali. Have been blowing glass on and off for about 12yrs, never and still really don't consider myself an artist but have been called one. Learned from my dad, pretty much ass a job in my late teens and early twenties making hand pipes then he bout a lathe and I started making water pipes. Never really met anyone else that was glassblowing until reacently.
I have always love to work with glass and fortunate to be able to have made a decent living, but never really applied myself to do more articulate pieces. I guess I have taken my gift for granted but I was young and into other things like American muscle cars (Mopars). but reacently just realy for some odd reason realy started to look at glass in a different way. I have reacently found myself searching for glassblowing related websites instead of Mopar sites and found myself looking for torches and lathes than engine parts. That's how I came accrost The Melting Pot, I still realy haven't spent that much time here but have already found it very interesting and know that I will be spending time on here alot more often. So I would like to thank everyone involved with this site. Well that's alittle about me. thanxz again.
