on sale cbs cause starship is on the hard 2 find.

Then when your cane is sweet and you don't burn out then get whatever your heart desire'

One tip when working it don't let the clear over the dicro get less than 1.5mil and your cane at least 2 mill and you can rage any flame with impunity once its cased.

I used to hot stripe it, and now press they both look nice in the end.

I like Dichroic Alchemy Starship/Tical.

Here's a link to get you started. I'd suggest buying a whole sheet if you get starship, so you get the whole color spectrum.

Dichroic Alchemy has a quote from Buckminster Fuller on their website. That sells me on them alone.

if you are just starting out with dichro I would suggest to use an easy sheet like DA Rasta Gold. Its hard to burn out and stretches nicely. Also a good one to use is CBS Red Silver Blue, for the same reason (its blue btw). Then after some practice you can start to use more difficult sheets such as DA Starship.
Always preheat your dichro before backing. That is a major mistake a lot of people make, if you don't get your material up to temperature before attempting to back it it will not 'craze' properly and you will be disappointed in the results. Either flame preheat the dichro on a punty, or let it sit in the kiln (on punty) for about 15 minutes or until you can see the crazing pattern. Some people flash the dichro side in a high oxygen flame to ensure it is up to temp, but some sheets can and will blow off in the flame so be careful. I use a lot of dichro and love it but even with experience using the stuff I am still very cautious when working it because its touchy. Starship FTW

Here's some pictures of the TG Dichro made for Trev's Glass by CBS Do you have sample strip sets of these coatings .There are are a few that look extra sick.I would like to try these coatings and don't want to buy a quarter sheet of each one and be stuck with a bunch of a coatings that i don't like.
