So I have a friend that recently bought a piece at a touristy area near where I live (Wisconsin Dells).... The piece he bought was fine but they gave him a freeby along with his purchase. The piece was "glass" but I'm not too sure about that because it didnt feel like glass to me...maybe acrylic? It was painted this really shitty gold color and then some circles are etched out of that paint so you can see a really gross green color paint on the inside of the spoon. After about a month of him using this spoon I looked at it and the paint from the inside is all melting off. I told him it probably isn't good for his health. I can't say I know too much about smoking paint but....doesnt sound too healthy to me. I just kinda want to see what your thoughts are on this garbage. Safe? Should this even be legal? I can guarantee it was produced in China...well....I mean where else would they make this crap...

Yea, prolly a good idea not to smke out of it.
I used to add black pant to the inside of some of my prodo to show the color changing effect. It was only a show piece not to be used. D you have a pic of said pipe? It would be nice to see it dirty or not

not anybody within two hours of me... I only found one woman who works soft glass... she was very helpful at first... but I don't feel like she pushes herself at all so her stuff isnt really my taste.....
It's gold fume. Probably 24 carat applied to a piece that wasn't hot enough. I use 22 c cause it sticks better. or if I use 24 I fume a tiny bit of silver as a primer for the gold to stick too.
