that is quite a family you guys have put together. says alot about this place and how it is regarded amongst others. obviously the word is getting out and quick.

wonder how long it will be before we see 10,000 ?

i predict before the year is out.

Imagine if each of them chipped in a $1 each donation for the forum... we'd have no probs paying server fees then.

^^^^that would be far too easy. i sure like the sound of it though.

maybe we should make it a requirement to be an official member.
a one time $1 sign up fee and a $1 yearly renewal. hmmmm.

yes man I suggested this a longtime ago but I forget the reason stated why it can't work.

I would suggest a $10 annual fee to able to read and contribute to the main glass discussion forums...

i am sure that anyone who takes this forum serious would donate $10 a year in the blink of an eye.

i started a fundraiser thread a while ago and we sold a decent amount of stuff to all go to the forum, but compared to the members we have it was weak. dont get me wrong, i really appreciate the ones who were involved but i did expect it would have been a bigger success.

berningglass , swampy, i am sure we could come up with a way around what ever loophole prevented this from already happening by some creative wording?

i know there are a lot of peeps who show up and then disappear just as quick. but to all the regulars on here that have yet to have a donation badge under your name: i say get on the ball.

this place fuckin rocks and it aint free!:D

as was said above: most get their $10 worth the very first time they surf this site and see what a bountiful wealth of info it really is.

hell, i will put another $10 in- that makes $20 so far and this day has just begun.

mods, how do we go about this without stepping on any toes?

so what exactly, does it costs annually, to keep this site running?

just so we have a goal to aim for.

:)

well I don't honestly know the answer to that question but look for the 'donate' button at the top somewhere for the cash injection or if you click the 'dancing girls' link in my sig you can make a difference to the forum's income in a more passive mode.

every little helps.

you don't see my badge?

when people do fund raisers they make big thermometers with a GOAL on top. i figured if we set a goal it would be helpful. as apposed to just randomly tossing money around.

i thought i WAS helping.

sorry for suggesting it.

i could be wrong faded but i think you misinterpreted swampys post. i am sure he meant no harm whatsoever.

as far as making sure it goes to the proper outlets on the form. i have to assume misha would be able to negotiate appropriately any funds that we members are nice enough to donate.

this site is pretty advanced and works 99.9% of the time which for sure takes time and money. the break down would probably confuse us all anyway, ha ha.

you obviously feel a need to help or you would not already have a badge. i say thanks for that for sure. not enough peeps on here that ask tons of questions feel the need?

as for delegating funds, lets just let the mods put it where its needed most.

later all, i love you all. lets donate.
