or you could just go to glassblowingtools.net and get them from the source. these are the same ones that winship, abr, mountian glass, etc, carry. the guy that makes them, adam, is a very stand up dude and if you order a few he will normally hook it up with free shipping. always good to support to small time craftsman.

i wrecked about ten or 15 females so far using them as handles. if you want to get heat right next to the joint often, its hard on glass female handles, they crack eventually, after a couple dozen uses or so.

Does anyone make a gong tool that is hollow so you can blow through them??

yes that guy mentioned above does. he makes both small wooden handle non holed, and long hollow you can attach a blowhose to style ones too.

or you can make your own if you have a few tools and dont mind making a mess. that shit is nasty but it can be worked easily. i made this set in a few hours of messing around.

so far they work great and i cant get anywhere near as good a weld with a glass holder as i can the graphite.

but i suck at blowing glass so i may not count much here.

i also use 12 mm on the end so i can use my normal blowhose set up and not have to screw around with different fittings.

wow forgot about this post lol...i im placing a order from mountain glass since they owe me a discount... i was just checkin to see if peeps had old ones they wernt using...im getting the ones that you can blow thru...only hollow male one though...im getting the solid female since its only 30$

If you pull the barbed end off the tools ,, they fit in my 12 mil blo tube attachment. just lettn yall know,,

Those new ones from Generations looks alot better than the last design. The less graphite on these the better.

Yea but its not the same tool. The one from glassblowingtools.net sucks in my opinion. The graphite is way too bulky/heavy. Its just akward for me to use.

The one that Kris has is a slimmed down designs and it looks to be more comfortable.
