I have just about had it with American Gases and their shitty ass tanks.

Just got a new tank yesterday, the thing is hissing from the gauge on top. I say ok no biggie, the driver says they will bring a new one tomorrow.

Well I start working and the top starts freezing over, then the tank starts creaking louder louder and BOOM. Something snaps and the tank starts shooting liquid full blast out of the top gauge. I nearly pissed myself when this happened as I thought I was about to die. Somehow I scrambled over to the tank managed to get it outside, while almost dropping it on its side. Mind you this all happened at 2 am. So I get it outside and this thing is venting like a northbound train. Finally 4 hours later the thing stops blowing off. I managed to calm down after about 5 or 6 safety breaks.

So I realized that this is not funny stuff to be fucking around with. I bitched out the dude and closed my acc.

What company are you other northwest chicagoland blowers using for liquid oxy? I was about to start calling around but figured someone here might impart some wisdom .

I remember Airgas quoting me a good price. Anything bad to say about the chi town area air gas?

My friend Ken is a manager at Airgas on the NW side of Chicago...great guy, we became friends when I walked in and there was a copy of Relix magazine on his desk. He's a Deadhead and will take great care of you.

Dude I had no choice, it was kind of a fight or flight reflex. I thought it might not be good if I left it inside.

Im lucky that I didnt get hurt or nothing god damaged.
