anyone ever use them? if so, how was the quality?

i have always used printfirm.com for everything but this was too cheap to pass on for a quick throw away card. these have a matt finish and are not as thick as my wood business cards but they are 1/3 the price so i will take a chance.

i saw their add banner on here and i saw an add on t.v. saying you get 500 business cards for $10 which includes shipping. i actually had to call to finalize the order with the free shipping as there was no prompt for that at check out. the shipping was actually gonna be more than the printing until the girl took it off the order.

i spent 10 minutes yesterday putting together a card for my glass shops i have been visiting lately. it is very , very simple and primative but its alot better than nothing or a card printed on a computer. i had to have something and this gives me a card to use in the mean time.

it will take two weeks because of the free delivery but the price was for sure right. i chaecked the status and they are alreday printed so i doubt it will actually be two weeks. we will see.

anyway they say this is a temporary sale for a few more days, so you guys that need cards might want to grab some while they are basically giving them away.

I was going to give them a try too - I've seen a few things lately (wedding invitations / thank you cards) that were from vista print and they were pretty good quality. They always say vistaprint somewhere on the card, but as you said, the price is right.

Hey, my wife used vistaprint, they were OK. She ended up paying $25 for 500 matte cards.

I used gotprint.com, got 1000 glossy cards. Mine looked a helluva lot nicer and they don't say gotprint anywhere.

I ordered some cards from vistaprint last summer. I think all I paid was shipping on like 500 cards or something. The only downside is that they say vistaprint on the back, but they were just what I was expecting. Quality was alright, and my options when designing the card on the website were slim, basically just text and some stock backgrounds.

thanks for the quick replies.

i fugure for the .02 cents a piece delivered literally, it was worth the risk to see what they looked like. i dont really care too much on this run that they put vistaprint on the back. i do wish they would have mentioned it though? even after going back, i cant find anything that says they are gonna do that. however, i remember modern postcard used to do that unless you specifically ask them not to. i bet i could have done the same here if i would have ask?

no biggie. $10 for 500 card and free ship. i really am not risking a lot on this one, haha. and it did take less than 10 minutes for the primative card i threw together. another 5 to pay because i had to get on the phone to get the free ship.

i will have a new set made up when i get my glass website together and i will end up printing on both sides / full gloss and heavier card stock. like i said i always have used printfirm.com for my cards and brochures and they are great but i just needed something a.s.a.p. and cheap with some glass info.

vistaprint is for sure lacking in the pizazz dept. but you cant ask for too much for 10 bucks can you??

i will let yall know what i think about them in a few weeks.

I used vistaprint recently. They came faster than quoted and turned out really well. Can't remember exactly what I paid, but it was cheap. Well worth it.

ETA, they do not say "vistaprint" on them.

we signed up to one of their special offers a few years back, the cards arrived quality was kinda ok,, then the end of the month there was this $30 fee on my bank acc,, we wondered what the hell this was for as I diddnt setup repeat billing, took me the best part of a month to get this issue resolved and it turns out Vistaprint were chanrgin me £20 a month for 'Membership' to their services,, nice fucking roll vistaprint.

I bought a lazer printer and print my own now, I cant complain about the quality control & im not gettin my bank acc fucking raped.

I've been using VistaPrint for about twelve years now without any problems.

I started off using the free ones, they put their strapline on the back of the card. After doing one show I really what a cheap-arse I must have looked because everyone always looks at the back of the card, right. It's like a sign; it's the first thing people see when they come into your business place; first impressions and all that.

Quality is top flight, I had a series with a nice photograph of a kilnfired piece on coated stock, came out really nice. These days it's a vertical double-sided job.

Be careful what you click on and sign up for, otherwise you will get charged for what you have requested, so don't do it when you're brain is fried.

Download the template you need (various formats available), I use the PhotoShop template and they always look good.

They ship to Belize no problems.

i used them a couple months ago for my cards. i signed up so i would get e-mail deals. i get daily e-mails with offers, many of which are free. i finally decided to purchase mine when all it boiled down to was paying for shipping. i uploaded my own image, which i wanna say is usually $2.50, got a glossy color finish and i think i paid $12 for 250. i think the quality is just fine for a business card. you have the option to design both sides, but i just chose one side for now. the back doesn't say "vistaprint" at all. i'd say i got a good deal for $12. you just gotta wait for them to give you free offers.

FWIW, I recently purchased business cards from Vista Print as well - no printing of any sort on the back. Just looked at the order details - I got 1,000 cards for $30.36. I chose the premium cards, blank back side, matte finish, I was able to upload my logo and design (including fonts), and they shipped fast. I remember calling around to our local printers, Office Depot, and Kinko's before I ordered, and they wanted $50-60 for 500 cards.

Hope this helps!

i've used them for a long time. super cheap and quality. the first time was about 02 or 03 and they used to print their web address on the back. not anymore.

the last order i made, i decided to change something after i already submitted the order. (keep in mind this was just me being picky)couldn't get anyone on the phone for a couple of days. so i just fixed what i wanted and made another order. finally someone not only answered, but they apoligized for internal problems, refunded the second order and tripled the quantity for free. first package arrived that same day. then two more boxes came within the next three days.

so 2000 free cards, plus i recieved an email several days later with another apology and $100 bucks worth free merch from their site. i only spent about $20 in the first place. needless to say, i never bitched about anything or complained about my order, they just hooked it up.

i wish all customer service was that great

Another vote for Vista print..I love their product/service. I do pay a little extra for gloss & heavier paper weight (Premium)..they come out nice. I don't ever recall them printing anything on the back, but then again all my info is printed on the back, and the front of the card are pics I've compiled into a jpg.

Not sure if they still do this, but when you make an order for say 250, they'll usually counterback with a special to double the order for a small amount more. I've had my artist bio postcards done with them too. I designed my own cards front/back so not sure about their standard formats for choices, might be basic/weak. Showing pic of the front of my card.

Figured I'd check them out, and found this in their FAQs:
"Free Business Cards come with the Vistaprint logo printed on the backside. Premium Business Cards come without the Vistaprint logo."

well the sale is for 500 premium cards including shipping for $10. they also let me use my pic with no extra charge.

i assume this means i will not have any logo from them on mine.

i am glad so many people have had good things to say. for the price and the small quantity they let you order, i figure you can get new cards all the time.

I use vista print for everything in my office including cards, posters, signs, pamphlets etc. They are great. Once you order something they send you email specials and if you time things well it is crazy cheap
