Hey everybody I'm from Tx, and want to get into flameworking. I'm new to the site been checking it out for a bit and reading a ton. Decided I would introduce myself. I have been watching YT videos and reading here as I said and its not enough anymore I'm ready to dive in. I will be moving to the Lewisville or DFW area in a week and was wondering if anybody knew of a glass artist willing to give me a couple paid lessons or even classes? Watching it on the screen is not satisfying at all I NEED TO MELT SOME GLASS! V everyone

BUMPITY BUMP...Nobody knows any artist in DFW area willing to give a couple lessons for cash and maybe even grub...can't beat cash and food in the belly? Or any formal classes in the DFW metroplex? Im pretty anxious to get my feet wet I draw and paint so I want to try my hand at melting some boro. Any feedback is appreciated :bouncy: V out

maybe what part of dfw and what kind of setup do you have?

No setup at all right now. I have been looking at some kits with a torch and tools, but I really just want to melt some glass and see how I like it before I go out on an expensive limb.
