View Full Version : how many psi is a 300cubic foot oxy tank?(t tank)

i have a t tank(300cu ft) and was wondering if i can use my regulators that only go up to 4,000 psi? how many psi is in a t tank? isnt it more than 4000?

most standard oxy tanks are filled to 2000-2200 psi tops. You can use your 4000 psi regulator.

The size of the tank is volume not pressure.

Mine are usually between 2500-2700 psi, they are "T"s.

I have a K, its 282 cubic feet..... never less than 2000 psi

long story short, your 4,000 psi regulator will work\.

you will notice the OX300 has a rated fill pressure of 2640 psi ..................

each bottle is individually rated. the ones i use fall between 2200 and 2600. if you look closely at your bottle you will find it's rating stamped on the side. find the rating then check the bottle when you first crack it. they should match, mine always do. :)

If that pressure rating stamped in your tank has an asterisk at the end, the bottle is rated at the stated pressure + 10% ................
