What have I missed?

I can not express how great it is to be back in my shop.

I have spent hours on the forums just trying to catch up on what the maestros are up to, and what new crazy pieces and techniques are out there.

I realize now that I will never have time to blow glass if I spend all my time on Glasspipes.org, and the forum here trying to catch up, so I wanted to ask anyone who has a minute what, in their opinion are the most interesting new styles, techniques and colors that have come out over that past few years?

encalmos are hot now. and as for color the hand pulled tubing and "sparkle" colors have come along nicely

I would have to say that when I came back into town these were the two most intriguing hot new items that interested me the most, and have been just awesome to implement in my work.
