Hey guys, I am camping at the site, and Tom DOES have showers available, but I'm a bit big and they're a bit small, and it's just uncomfortable. In that past it's lead to me skipping showers and generally feeling dirty which sucks when it's 100 degrees and humid...
So is anyone staying at the Emlenton that would let me use their shower? I'm down to kick some money towards your room or something of that nature. I'll have my truck also, so could offer rides for shower, etc...
Just don't wanna feel so filthy this year.
lemme know

hey Doug,
I'm staying over at Grove City and you, and anyone else for that matter, are welcome to use my shower. I will do it as my contribution to AGI....lol

I noticed last year that the Emlenton truck stop looked like it had some really nice showers.... was thinking about using those this year. Shouldn't cost more than a couple bucks i would think....

Its actually just as close as the Emlenton, if you take the short cut and the hotel is a lot nicer!! I stayed there last year and it was great!!! Holiday Inn Express, made the reservations yesterday!!

nice jane, I'll scout it out with ya, if it's reasonable distance I'm down. I felt nasty last year, and with getting sick, it was that much worse. I started to fell a lot better the first night driving back I stopped at a hotel and took a hot shower... instant relief.

you know we could set up a camping shower with a tarp... you could experience the great outdoors in such a new way ;-)

Jane, do you have a room mate? I am still considering my options for camping or hoteling it.

I can handle that Jane- but I like to stay out real late too.
I'll PM you for sure. Thanks! I'm sure I'll need at least one or two nights on a real bed. ;)
