More search options!!!?

I just noticed there are not options for excluding terms from your results?

for instance: If I wanted to search for glass but no results containing the word bubbler?

It's a bad example but, on most other searchs there are a lot more options in the advanced options.

It could turn search results of 500 down to like 50.

That would rock.

The search engine wont let me search up top!

So when you click on "search" in the bar up at the top (between "new posts" and "quick links"), it doesn't pop up a little box? My guess is that it is your browser. What are you using?

I truly hate that little box - it overlaps the ads and doesn't work well with Android phones.

Thankfully this will be moot once we finally upgrade the forum, which should have happened about five months ago. We swear it's coming soon.
