Just for fun, and getting back into the roots of why I love losing myself in the flame;o)

It has been too hot to work in the hotshop here, welp I used to kill myself, but I said no more of that last year.

I must say if it is 2" or 20" its just as fun, in fact I think I have more fun on the torch these days= no pressure:o)

At any rate I decided that in order to move forward, sometimes its nice to reflect.

I decided to think about what it was that I liked about torch working, besides the freedom. It was that the pieces changed colors, then there was a drastic change in production because of all the new bad ass colors that came out:o)

In working on the torch again I have been experimenting with the super og fume ... Gold and silver... gold green/purple etc...

Mr. Nail, thanks for keeping it real.

I've noticed upon reducing a light fume before doing pattern work was the best results.

In just doing even outside worked pieces, welp lets just say I don't have any left.

In a few weeks I'll be back to slaving in the hotshop, and I just wanted to say Thanks to everyone who keeps this thing going!!!!!!!

Keep it real....

And remember, the best piece comes fully stuffed;o)

I just got fired....Looks like I'm jumping back to full time glass blower....This time for real....I'm going to make my coffee and get in during the morning until Noon or so.....Then come back during the evening and work all night. A box fan in the studio helps big. I've been winding copper wire and keep thinking "why am I working for min. wage across town when I could be making double in my own backyard?" I'm now aiming for 6-7 hrs a day no ifs, ands, or buts.........Slick420
