I was expecting something about trained gorillas making prodo, this is pretty cool though.

you beat me to it chris. i saw that and thought that it was quite the little goldmine to have in your basement for the last 50 years.

be intereseting to see where this stuff gets used over the next few years.

i just got a sandblaster that will do panels up to 6x8 feet and i am thinking how cool it would be to do some blasted panels then bend them to get distorted images. layer different images like blue lilly suggested then bend in different directions to give a look of movement. sooo many options.

i wonder when it will become available to the public and how much it will cost? i can see lots of cool things to do with this stuff.

why can coring make all of this crazy stuff and still not be able to make a round tube that is free of airlines and stones. My wife has the phone mentioned in the article, I have to go try to smash it and see how strong this glass really is.

In his office lobby, Steiner showed off a 400-foot-long spool of flexible, 16-inch-wide glass that's as thin as a sheet of paper.

very intriguing indeed
