Just wanted to share my find...
After another meltdown on my diy kiln I had had enough, I serached craigslist for "kiln" and this is what I found.
It was listed at $175 but it made a loud humming noise so I was able to talk him down to $125. As soon as I got it home i ripped off all that pottery bullshit and wired in my diy digital controller. It works great, and its silent since I removed the stock controls. Too bad my glassblowing tonight didnt go as well as my craigslist digging : (
