Does anybody know of a company that sells blue and black tubing by the case? By the way do you think it's more beneficial using color tubing vs. clear? Just want to know your opinion on that.

pretty much everybody that sells any color tubing offers cases, prices fluctuate but if your calling around make sure to ask about upcoming sales. there seem to be a lot of sales on color tubing.

as for more beneficial? just different. if you mean for learning then i think clear glass allows you to inspect your finished work more thoroughly.

Nothing a good flashlight won't cure. The colored glass is stiffer that's for sure...

yea i like it for sertain aplications it definatly makes it nice to throw a little extra colors into montage pieces without haveing to make them up yourself, and the lighter the color the more it behaves like clear like the amber and purple act like clear almost and the blue and black are real stiff you will see.

and for your original ? i would go with winship they seem to have the best deal on color tube everytime i find a sale it cant even beat there regular prices on it check it out and they have discoutnts on 40or 50 lb cases

I'm out of L.A Cali. And colored glass is allot stiffer than clear. I also noticed that when I make a spoon or whatever the glass seems wrinkly? Or somewhat rough in texture even though I apply more heat it doesn't go away.

Yo. If you're in the LA area then check out UST in Pico Rivera, they sell the color tube. Also, there's a company called Solace International (I think that's what they're called), they have cheap color tubing by the case but no black.
