Hi folks. We haven’t nailed down the exact dates (2nd or 3rd week in August), or who will be here yet. We have been working on it for several months and will make announcements as demonstrators confirm their attendance.

The 11th annual event (The Spinal Tap anniversary) will be as follows:

-“A” tickets (which include a work station) will be $650.00
-“B” tickets, which include everything except a designated work station, will be $550.00.

You can reserve your space by sending us a $150.00 NON REFUNDABLE deposit, via check or PayPal. After that, payments of $50.00 per month will give you 1 year to pay in full.

Important: veterans (past guests) have first dibs on AGI attendance, which is an offer I will keep open until October 15th, 2010. After that, it will be open to the public on a first come / first served basis.

tom,
a quick heads up about the paypal link above. it is actually a email link.
also; i want everyone to know i am most likely officially the first one to sign up for next year. woo hoo, mofos.
i'm gettin a torchin spot and already jonesin for the whole thing again.

tom, i used the paypal link from the 2010 tickets as it was easy to just go that way and leave a note saying its for next year.
if its a problem for the paperwork or anything , let me know and i will get it to you another way.

agi is the one and only reason i still have an sanity left after the last few months. the best therapy i could ask for.

later,

how big is that turbo on that subaru? you must be running some serious boost to have killed me at the tree(light) that bad. haha. :bouncy:

my 60-foot times were way down on this race. good thing this wasnt for pink slips or you would have to learn to drive a mustang.

fuckin imports, always sneaking in with something crazy under the hood. that is the last time i fall for that i drive a 99 subaru shit.:D

Yeah, it's a sleeper for sure.

Is your mustang street legal?

Yeah, it's a sleeper for sure.

Is your mustang street legal?

damn skippy, even runs on pump gas.
full interior with power windows and cruise control. i did take the air out and smog shit but that is it.

it weighs a ton and i could easily get 2-5 tenths off the time if i gutted and another couple hundred hp if i turned up the boost. but i tried that once and the block didnt take too kindly to it. 16 inch crack across the entire block. the only thing that kept it together was the girdle in the pan.
on that pass i had 18 lbs of boost and i almost drug the bumper on the launch. all i saw was sky for a fraction of a second. scary but cool feeling. (my blower is good for 28 lbs if i had the block to take it)
the next pass was my motors demise. since then i keep the boost to a mild 8-9 lb range and i have no problems.

my best time in the 1/4 was 10.43 @ 137mph and in the 1/8- 6.41 @ 109mph

these times are pretty good for a pump gas 3300 lb slug.

i have friends that run in the high 8 and low 9 numbers and it is very expensive to keep those running compared to mine.

however, it looks like i need to invest in a subaru and turn up the boost baby.
can anyone say "sleeper". you fuckin ninjas....

wwwwait... I thought you had to be a veteran to get first dibs... Douge, you hiding something from me?

Does 2 years of ROTC count? I served my country, was on the Navy pistol team, and served those MECEPS well, *snicker* 120 guys and only 5 women in the unit- well, damn, somebody's got to do it!

OH F'K!!! you meant AGI veterans! Here I was thinking all "serving my country" and stuff, after reading the post about the Military scholarship...

Ummm, "no one has to fly?" Take ferry from Kodiak, AK to Homer, AK, then per mapquest drive 4255 miles (about 75 hours) to Hilliards. I think I'll fly. Unless someone wants to carpool from Anchorage? LOL
