Last night I made this tribute to the victims of 9-11. I know 1 person that was killed in the towers that day, and a friend of mine lost his brother as well. God bless the victims and their families, as well as the brave firefighters, police officers, and medical staff who ran into the towers as others were running out.

Tom is now an adjective for continued honorable acts?
Love it.
You should be more tom, what goes around comes around.
Also, to add a smile from a real situation, my mom talked to me on the phone about how she's goin' to this festival being held in my hometown for 9-11 that is going to be a charity for alzheimers...
With out missing a beat I said "Oh it's for those that DON'T remember 9-11."
Thought my mother was gonna die laughing.

So while we're on the subject... I just read this...
http://www.mcsweeneys.net/2008/9/11hodgman.html
John Hodgman (the PC from the Mac/PC commercials, frequent contributor to The Daily Show, and Author) is a favorite commentator of mine, and I was actually surprised he managed to write/speak this without the normal tone of cynicism I've come to expect from him...yet it's still clearly his voice.
A good read.
Oh, and Tom, as per the above linked speech, your tribute seems to be missing bacon.

does this mean "roll on floor laughing"? i am confused as to the statement if it does. there is nothing funny about it.
please do elaborate and tell me im wrong.

I agree. What's so funny about 9-11
Seriously guys, Stipple wrote in response to Pogo's joke. This sort of knee-jerk reaction is embarrassing.
Beautiful work Tom. Any more pictures? I'd like to see the sculpture in a little more detail.

Thanks folks, I’m glad you appreciate it. Below is a link to a commercial that Budweiser made for the first anniversary of 9-11. They only ran it once as to not exploit the tragedy of that day. I found it very touching.

Where is Shanksville from you? Perhaps a 10 year little glass memorial like the bench may be in order.
Thanks for the link and your part.
