Need advice on glow powder.
Having a hell of a time using this stuff.
How do you guys use it?

I put it in a frit tray/gravy boat. Then I grab whatever I want to glow. Say a stick of lite cobalt. I take the whole rod and ball the middle up, get it HOT and roll it around in the powder in the tray. Then I come back to the flame (neutral) and mix it like I'm mixing color. I do this about 3 times and it gives a good glow.

Put a small amount on the inside of a tube, then heat and mix at the same time with clear rod, it will take some time to get all the lumps out of the glass but it works quit well if it is mixed good. This is the way I would do it.

I've had good luck throwing pieces of color into a tube (40 and up), then some glow power, heat, mix, pull.

If you lop the color into murrini sized pieces you can use 25 easily enough.

Yep, those are both real good ways to do it I have a couple other too for just little pickups and stuff...

like just scoop a little tiny tiny bit up in a spoon and indent the desired glow spot and pour the little bit of powder in their and take clear rod or something and push and mix together and incase it all then put back ground colors and whatnot...
Alsos just take some 10 ml rod get the bottom hot/ pick some up and go directly onto another pretty hot piece/ squish together and work out the airbubble if any...

I do this on dread beads, jars, universe marbles and pendants, the back of skull beads and stuff ...

Also glow powder with light or medium slim color over it is just a natural good idea :-0

So basically I just mix it in real nice, pop any airbubbles you see and wallah it glows pretty bright !!!

These are part of my special productions below is a knife I posted a while ago, these knifes I am making more and more each year and try to make them better and better each time, I make simple ones outa clear flat rod and swords too and have a variety of prices and difficulties in technique(glow, sparkle, clear, sharpened), I recently learned how to sharpen them too!!!

I havent tried menties way yet but now I will and hope I learned more new stuff...thnx

I am really proud please look... :-j es
