Thanks. very cool. Daryl Smith was my teacher at Salem. He is the glassblower for Yale university now. He's a badass to say the least. I learned so much from him. really taught me that nothing is impossible with glass. it's
pretty crazy to think I'm 1 of only 2,500 scientific workers. how few of us does there have to be for us to be considered and endangered species?

...theres probably as many scientific blowers as there is money to pay for them. are there people advertising to hire scientific blowers? dont know why someone would pass up an opportunity like that. good article thanks for linking it.

^^^^ ahahaha that's not a bet im willing to take. I think im the only one out of my class of 20 that doesnt make pipes now. I used to and want to make pipes again but my studio is in my inlaws back yard.
