View Full Version : Most Inexpensive glass facet machine

I would really like to get a machine to facet my glass. They all seems crazy expensive. Anyone know of a cheap one?

There was just a thread on this like a week ago. Doug and HWC put in all kinds of great info. Type "faceting machine" into the search bar, and you should find it.

i built this one for less the $300 bucks. Its a jam peg faceter. Work plenty good enough for glass.

i built this one for less the $300 bucks. Its a jam peg faceter. Work plenty good enough for glass.

nice one kurt! what if you alreeady have a flat lap, would it just be essentially mounting the lap and jam peg facteter to a sturdy frame ? if i had a list of things i wanted, a faceter would probably not be on it, but i'm curious as i already seem to have some of the goods. thanks for posting !

i use a vibrating sander and diamond dust.
