Mastering the fundamentals in any art form is key to the final result. And mastery of the fundamental technique in lampworking is the gateway to understanding this most ancient of materials. This class is about going back to the roots of technique. In this 5 day class students will learn topics ranging from the philosopical nature of heat to basic hand sills. A course for any skill level, beginners as well as more advanced students will be able to hone their skills as they explore blown ornaments, perfume bottles and more complex vessel forms such as goblets. Come ready to absorb a lot of information, and share what you know.

dam!!!! it i weren't going to a trade show the same week,

even though i know he will make me use blow tubes "no points"

this kind class doesn't seam to come around much often.
