Great, thanks again, that will get me started out Nice, 4 oz for 40$ sounds good to me!

& I will also call the # or email Beth Katz to see if any difference in quality and price...

Also I am seeing or reading some about that silver conductive paint stuff? has anyone tried it out or know anything good about it and its workings with glass, I guess this coulda been a whole new thread...

And if anyone knows of its existence in a previous thread that would be mighty nice too!

i've been having great results with rio grande's "midas" silver conductive paint for electroforming copper. the $60 ounce has lasted 6 months or more; a little bit goes a LONG way. testor's model paint thinner works great for cleanup or replacing evaporated solvent, and it is a lot cheaper than the thinner rio grand is selling for their paint. zylene, mineral spirits, and acetone do not work. what i'm wondering is why does it have to be silver conductive paint? since we're copper plating, can't someone come out with copper conductive paint? after all, copper cheaper than silver!

Thats fast, Ya, Rio Grand, I will have to check them out ,thank you.

Could you please show a picture(s) to see the results?

I am really thinking about getting some of the silver stuff too as well to compare the outcomes and try to have more variety & it would be really fine to see something someone made, if possible...

The silver paint dries in minutes, is Toluene based, really nasty fumes.
The copper paint dries in hours, is water based, hence Safer Solutions. Heard should be left over night for best adhesion? No nasty fumes.

Safer Solutions works best for me and is non toxic. Drying time is not much at all, I do not leave it over night and have great results. The fumes off the Rio stuff is nasty, and I would avoid it if possible.

Heres the website, it goes a long way and can be thinned with distilled water.

I've used silver conductive paint to fix circuit boards and stuff, it ain't cheap, but it's very good. And it is toluene/solvent based, use with a vent hood.
