it is not normal.
but still, do not call and 'complain'.
keep it professional, call and just calmly and simply tell them the truth.
any distributor/manufacture of good reputation works very hard to get their products to their customers in tack; they will want to know that you are having a problem.
if you are cool about it, they will be cool about it.
if you call and start telling people they are dicks . . . .

most companies are willing to accept responsibility for damage. Just be nice and polite. I once called GA about a batch of weird color I got...about three rods total...they sent me 5lbs of odds to make up for it.

I agree ,you should complain In a nice way.Alot of times the person on the phone had nothing to do with the shit Packing or irresponsible delivering of goods .They can also make a claim for the broken product with there shipping company and get compensated for the broken stuff .So hells yah you should send it back .

Double amber purple.
MGA are good people.

Another good reason to bring it to their attention is that if they don't know there's a problem, it never gets fixed.

I'd go with a pound of Experimental Green 5. It's one of my staple colors. Or a dark cobalt.
