Thanks - I got glass stuck in one of the little holes when the punty thermal shocked and allowed a hot marble to plug it up.

I just got off the phone with Peter. He's sending me a new tip part - totally nice person too!!!!!

That's great news. Also, I don't feel quite so bad when I have an accident like yours. I was working on a marble Yesterday when the rod shattered. I had a piece of 14mm Effetre mounted on a 6mm rod, luckily I still had a punty on the other side.
