anybody doing vac stack or sleeving should ditch the vacuums and venturis and just pipe a blowhose off there ventilation system works like a charm costs nothing and no loud machines

just a thought works great in my set-up

can post picks when im back in canada but really takes about 2 minutes to set-up and i think you can figure it out

so how does this work exactly, u just run a piece of 1/4 hose next to your fan? how close does it gotta be? i've heard that vacuum encasement doesn't require very much suction but this sounds like an extremely small amount.

any performance loss to speak of?

^ depends on your fan set up. if you have attic fans that blow out your studio, then that wont work. but what he describes is genious if you have a large fan with ducting overhead, tap a line into that and your good to go.

you're right attic fan no worky unless your using ducting

i have a squirrel cage with metal ducting for my system

i just went up a foot or two past my opening and drilled a 1.5" hole plugged it with one of those rubber corks with the hole through it then hooked up a swivel not needed but worked added 5' of blowhose then another swivel-very important- then another 2' of blowhose attached to whatever you want to suck out of

i could not feel the suction but it works perfect
