how do you program a skutt?

Can anyone tell me the keystrokes to have it turn on, go up to 1050, stay there and then slow down when i want it to to anneal stuff? the place i work at has one but no one there has ever used it. I went to the website and downloaded the manual but that thing might as well be in arameic. The model # is GM10f and it uses a glassmaster 700 controller

Off the top of my head - press stop, then ramp button, press user 1 and enter. The first segment asks how many cycles you want to run. So if you want to go to 1050 and then turn off after hold time type in 1 then enter. The next segment wants to know how many degrees the kiln will rise or fall in an hour, just type in 1050 and enter. Next segment asks the degrees to be set at, again type in 1050 enter. Next segment wants to know how long you want to hold at this temp - so if ur workin 9 hrs. type in 10.00 and enter( so it can soak for an hour). Last segment is delay, say you want ur kiln to turn on in 2 hrs, then type in 2. If you want it to start right away type in 0 and press enter. Now the computer should display stop. At this time press start! Now if you want ur kiln to ramp down to 900 degrees (after holding at 1050 for 10 hrs.) and hold for an hour u will enter 2 in step 2 of the program when it displays seg. The program you will have to enter would be : stop, ramp, 1, (different users remember different programs), enter, 2, enter, 1050, enter, 1050, enter, 10.00, then it will say seg 2 press enter, 150 ( to drop 150 degrees to 900), enter, 900, enter, 1.00, enter, enter, start. Hope this helps!

Thanks a bunch Forche! ill try that next time i work. Im new and the Skutt is way too complicated for me to figure out and i didnt want to have to haul my paragon with me everywhere. thanks again!

Thanks Menty, i found those too. my problem was i didnt understand it. im new to lampworking and the manual didnt make alot of sense for me. Its a heck of alot of options on that controller! Lol basiclly i was spamming the "anneal now" button and cursing at the thing. Things seem clearer now and i printed out everything to take with me when i go in tomorrow. Thanks again for all the help guys
