what up everyone. For the last few years, we have commissioned an American artist to craft the Christmas gifts we give our Flow advertisers and distributors.
This last year, Trey Cornette did a nice set of 6 icicles for us for 2010. Turned out real sweet. Thanks Trey!
So, we budget $13-$20 per set or ornament. We need 150 sets at this price point. We will choose and artist by March 1st. Deadline for the project is November 15th 2011. This is a deadline sensitive project. If you submit, please know that you can follow through.
Thanks in advance for all bids. Please e-mail to boxfanwilly@gmail.com

Maureen(our partner) let me know that she included one of Trey's business card with each set we mailed out. We offer the same if you send the cards.
Also, if there is enough interest, we will open this up for 5-10 artists be commissioned to do 15-30 ornaments/sets each. We will do some type of exposure in The Flow for the commissioned artists. Not guaranteeing what type, as we are fleshing this thing out as it progresses.
Thanks
Trey Cornette

Thanks for the great opportunity Will!!
I really enjoyed this project and going by the rule of 1000 I feel I have mastered the icicle. I thought they were pretty good when you guys asked me to do this but now they are the bomb. I can damn sure pull a mean loop! Took me 6 weeks to complete. Here is what 1400 icicles looks like.

Just to be clear - no Canadian artists allowed?

North American brothers and sisters. In this financial climate, we feel it in the best interest to support close to home.
Thanks

Thank YOU, sir.
That is awesome, and I really appreciate the inclusion. We often talk of imports on this forum, and I realized the other day that I treat North America, i.e. the U.S., as non-import, even though I obviously import everything I use.
BTW, I am finally a subscriber of The Flow, after I suggested it as a Christmas gift. It's aboot time! Can't wait for my first issue...
