So I've got a senior glass blower friend:cane: and, the other day, I call him up and run some questions :bangHead: about making stuff buy him for a peice I want to make.
I still can't figure out a few things :twitch: and days later I'm thinking of driving 1.5 hours:coolcar: out to his place for help. Once a year or so, I visit.
As I was pondering my dilemma, OUT of the BLUE, days later, without any prompting, he calls me to say he was going to mail me a bunch of gear for me to try...just because.
:blowkiss:
Now that rocks! :D :bouncy: :cheerlead
I think for 2006 I'm going to make a point to share more love. :mj:
Thanks Wonka!!:peace:

Wonka works in mysterious ways :D
I'd visit him too if he wasn't a days ride on a dusty trail :hotrod:

If it takes you 1.5 hours to get up to his place from Cranberry, then you aren't driving like Racer X. I got it down now, 20 minutes to your hood if no old people are in the way (for the frisbee golfin')... Tom's is really only an hour from here taking the Slippery Rock exit off of 79. I keep trying to get him and Elaine to close the store and come down for a night. For some reason I don't think they leave there much.

Thanks for the kind words Ed (and Steve, and burnoutboy).... I really appreciate it :)
Ed- I hope you put them to good use- please e-mail me a photo of the completed project!

No, he doesn't drive like you Rex... that's why he didn't lose the front bumper of his car the last time he visited, and then spend an additional hour + trying to re-wire his headlights so he could drive after dark. :rollin

Hey, you need lights to get home at dark! And that rock pile totaly needed to be knocked over... and the part of my bumper that I lost wasn't aerodynamic enough so I'm glad it's gone. It all worked out well. Now my car looks a little tougher.

That part of your bumper isn't gone... it's still in front of my shop. Come over and get it when you have some time :lol
