Hey guys,Ive been reading this forum for a few months now prior to getting my torch.Everyone was such great help.and really I thank all you guys for helping me get started and choosing where to get my equipment and what to actually get. Ive been at work now for about a little over a month and I am in love with the art and the process, and mainly my finish products.
First Im gonna show a few pendants I made and then a few pipes.Tell me what you think and maybe what Ive done wrong cause Im just doing all this from you guys and reading everything you guys say. I have no previous work on a torch other than a little bit of work on a hot head making beads and such.
Thanks again in advance guys and girls.:D
I have a few more pics that id like to post but Im not to sure how to post the pics and comment in between them.

Thanks a lot guys it means a lot. I was a little nervous to post my stuff but i figured it would only help me out in the end. I started basically in the beginning of december so its been a little more than a week. But i am having trouble learning new techs. I wann astart some insideout work but i cant seem to get my colors further into the tube and i cant really flare it out as much as i want. i think either I need bigger tubing to start with(I was using like 30mil tubing) Im going to order some 44 or 50 mil tubing soon and I think i can do it then. But also I have been using stringers for my color work that Ive been doing but it gets so thin and almost clear when i use it and then even more when I stretch and shape my pipes. But i cant seem to use full rod very well. any advice?
Thanks again guys

flare that 30mm open wide! and i wouldn't recommend using full rod for iso work, practice making larger diameter stingers, it will work way better.
pendants look real nice tho.

Awesome progress and beautiful work! The only advice I can give ( I am still in the early learning stages as well ) is to look out for clear glass turning white hot. It looks like your first couple pendants may have been boiled a little bit. One of the first things I focused on and am still focusing on is the color of the glass in relation to how molten the glass is, also you can feel a change in the rotation of your punty when the glass achieves a certain level of pliability. Paying attention to these little things enhances all your work and pays off quick! Keep rockin' it! Your progress is amazing!
