Hey, this is my first thread, it sucks that it has to begin with frustration. I placed my first order with ABR. after it sat in their warehouse for 4 days they finally shipped it. i finally got it in yesterday and the glasses were broken, when i called to get a replacement the guy, Robert, acted like it was basically my fault and now i have to ship them back before i can even get a new pair. He basically told me that ABR is the only place to order glass and acted like they supply every other supplier in the US. is that true? where do you guys order your glass, tools etc? I was thinking about ordering from whaleapparatus. any tips you guys could give me would be awesome. Thanks! :bangHead:

I'd second MGA. Good people there. Glasscraft and Trev's glass are good shops also.

ABR is a great company. As with everybody we all have bad days. I just ordered something from ABR the other day and had it the next day. I also had a problem with some welding hose. It was a twin bore tubing that I separated into single bore. Done this hundreds of times but this tubing when separated rip off the outer housing on one side exposing the reinforcement and inner rubber. Called Dave and he told me to send it back and they would credit me. It was some old China tubing that was left on the shelf. It would have been fine for someone using the dual bore, but I needed single. Anyway I bought that for $55. I then told them I needed a regulator, so he sent me the regulator which was $80 and told me not to worry about the shipping or the difference. I think this is A+ business. I ended up getting a reg for $55 and I was happy. He even sent me the reg before I shipped the tubing back. A week or two later I sent the tubing back and the pulled the left over stock from the shelves. These guys are real cool and every once in a while things do happen. i would recommend giving them a second chance....

*UPDATE*
Caleb from ABR called me back, and this guy was awesome. He is shipping out another pair today, and will let me ship back the broken ones when they come in. I will definitely give them a second chance. This guy just saved my future business for sure.

i just recieved my first order from ABR last week. I was a little strapped for cash when I made my order, and I had only yet ordered from Mountain Glass. I checked out ABR's site and they had more ODDS variety than Mountain Glass, so I sent an email stating the items I wanted and asked for the best deal. It fit my budget and the response time to my email(s) was timely. I told them I would rep them on my next forum post. I was not informed about a color that was out of stock when my order was placed though, so when I got my shipment, I was a little disappointed, but I wasn't charged for it. Mountain Glass was my first order though, and they were an absolute pleasure to work wtih. Great custy service, and love the same day shipping, along with being a green company. I will order from both of the places again. Im still hoping to make some extra cash for a foot pedal though. I'm gonna holler at LTD for that when the time comes, cause he was a nice homie to a newbie when i first started posting
