does anyone else trade there wares for sammiches and whatnot.......man i have traded for smoked turkey and meat plates lately this is the most awesome thing to do.........i have 10 more sammiches waiting for me out there......
i used to all the time it was awesome for sure. i used to have everything on lock down. just call it in and have it at the shop 30min later. food for 4 = a spoon or chilum or we would work it out. of course i lived in lawrence ks then. since i left i have not tried to trade the wares for food. ah the good ol days haha. enjoy.

Oh yeah.....I live above a deli...i traded the guy a bunch of sandblasted pint glasses for his Masons club. It was a couple hundred $$ and the guy thought is was hilarious that I would trade that much for sandwiches. I figure I eat there all the time so I'm just gonna end up spending that much money there anyway. At craft fairs if I see something I like I always ask if the other vendor is interested in trading.

I have learned to love the hippie trade. Sometimes I will trade for stuff I have no interest in, just to see people with good vibes happy.

Almost nightly in des moines.... we're all late night pizzavores. Often a cracked prodo is worth more than a good piece sold for cash! Our pizza joint usually hooks us up with several pies, if you time it right.
