I've been meaning to post photos of this thing for at least two years now -- my good friend made this for me in exchange for this bubbler! It works pretty great for outside color, and if not bad if your scooping color into your tubing. It's a mini version of the one at the one from the hotshop at school -- Going to have my friend sandblast it, and freshen it up with some paint, i was using it as a stand for coldworking last week and it acquired some nasty rust -- and the bub's been broken and trashed

He said he'd make one for $125-$150 painted. He's busy with school, so you might be right could take a while to get one shipped to Oregon, but i'll ask him about how realistic it is if he would be able to make any until this semester's over, I know over the summer he's free and has full access to his shop.

Nice set up.
I think a few of those scoops are gonna be disapearing from the bulk food sections around the country, lol.

Any idea what it was originally? I think I'd like a couple of those.
The frit rack, while cool, would almost certainly spell multicolor disaster at my place.

^^Ha, I was thinking the same thing!
Don't think of it as a multicolor disaster. Think of it as a custom frit blend! lol

that round thing has 2 parts with the holes in them that are held inside a sleeve one on either side. It comes apart but it looks like it had some set screws to hold it in together or something. Maybe some sort of coupler, maybe
