okay so I bought my new regulators they are the correct high pressure ones. Hook them up to my tanks run some leak test go to my torch turn it on.......and nothing....retry all steps still nothing....getting pressure readings on gauge and regulating oxy to 20psi and propane to around 8psi but it's like nothing is making it to my torch....my system is as follows.....tank..regulator...Flashback....line... .quick connect...torch....is there a problem with my quick connects or is the gas not even making it past the flashbacks??? would like to start working in my new shop this weekend but I am stumped as to what the problem might be......any ideas, feel free to chime in...................thanks in advance

Try taking out the flashbacks and see if it works. If not, try taking out the quick connects.
It's one of those two.

flashbacks and quick connects should have a 'flow' arrow on them, usually... check that

Wait, Beano comes in drops? So theoretically, I could just add it my salsa?

thanks for the help, turned out to be my Flashback's they were backwards, but the way they are made I can't just turn them around....so I guess I'll go buy some new ones....still have my quick connects so I guess I'll go ahead and do some work this weekend.....hopefully I wont have any back flow problems.....

if you can't return your flashbacks, see if you can get the fittings needed to "turn them" around. i had a pair like you probably have.. i needed a fewextra fittings

I was wandering Do you have to have flashbacks on surface mix torch?..I had read somewhere it wasn't a big deal, unless your running premix is this true?..

flashbacks don't really help anything on a surface mix torch, unless you have a leak in the manifold, then maybe... but you'd notice that long before you'd have a flashback situation.

I thought quick connects had an internal flash arrestor?Or maybe it was a reverse flow check valve?

Some do. It's a feature you pay more for though.
