Here are some new ones I am try'n, look at the stamens the white & orange has 32 lines of them. and the flowers have 9 layers of petals for 27 then the leaves so 10 layers.

If you could only see them in real life and turn em around and look all in there and everything.

hope you like I know I am just practicing but wanna know what you think.

respectfully,
Jes

Could you put a pic of them next to a lighter for perspective? Pretty damn good for practice pieces, the hummingbird's beak looks a little wonky - did you try to tweak it after the original pull? Or maybe hit it with the flame by accident (those delicate things wilt on me every once in a while...
The only real suggestions I have is hitting the hummingbird's neck with a hand torch to smooth out the indent. And those stamens, if that's the look you're going for, it's cool, whispy, but if you wait to add 'em till after you've started imploding your first sets of petals it'll recess 'em more. Just depends on what look you're going for. On the red, it' looks badass!

Excellent, I told you the blue over white was a killer combo.

flowers look great.

IMO, lose the detail work behind the flower and add in a colored background; less work, more visual bang, pendant will form better, loop will pull more strait.

love to see more.

so are those pendants done on rod or tube,? I was wondering what you were talking about when you said "complosion" ...

WHOLY cow ! I am so happy so many people replied !

Yep these where done on a 19ml simax rod

The stamens are a cane I made using the ten-hundred thousand bee-hair technique
I seen in some old paperwieghts loren stump showed us this winter and it really stuck. I am trying them in this type a system and am getting happy the more I practice the pistols and also I save allot of time adding the dots for complosion centers, just boom one cane or 3 together for a big marble and its in their...

Each time you double them they get more so the next time I am going for a 64 line stamen cane then a 128 :bouncy: but no talk must try and try.

Please, will use good advise for any color combos you know of too ?

Thanks for the critiques too, I really wanna make great stuff and realizing all the mistakes is a great place to start the process...

I wont make more pictures of these, someone else took them just on sunday hopefully more to come... and your right about that hummingbirds neck and beak just wait till next time :-)

Again thank you all so much it was really inspirational to look and see all these comments, wow
